Snapper, Whiting & Squid Fishing
If you are looking for Snapper fishing outside of the traditional season (October to December) then this is the charter for you. However, as it can be a challenge to catch Snapper off season, sometimes we will switch to Whiting or Squid to make sure you have the best chance at bringing home some fish. Our mixed bag fishing charters increase your chance of going home with a great feed.

Details & Itinerary
Catching Snapper out of season still provides a great opportunity for a fun fishing experience. Especially as seasons fluctuate and it is possible to get a great catch early in the new year or just before the traditional season starts. Early in the season, we will often depart from Hastings as this is a great place to fish early on, then swap to Carrum at a later stage. Mal will always be in touch with you to let you know where your particular charter will be departing from. (See How To Catch Snapper, How To Catch Whiting, How to Catch Calamari (Squid)).
When you go on a snapper, whiting or squid mixed bag fishing charter, you will need to come prepared for around 5 hours on the water. For those who need it, there is a toilet onboard. You will need to be prepared with appropriate clothing to prepare against seaspray and be aware that you may get a little dirty when dealing with the fish. Our mixed bag fisdhing charters are the best charter for going home with a great catch.
